Director

Phil has been with Butler and Young Associates for 32 years, and a Director for 21 years. He has overall responsibility for all electrical services within the practice and is project leader for all multi-discipline railway industry projects. He has extensive experience in general electrical engineering and building services engineering within a railway environment both UK mainline (Network Rail/Railtrack/ British Railways) train operating companies (TOCs), and London Underground Limited.

Phil is the Director responsible for Network Rail Consultancy Services Call-Off Contract and London Underground Limited Framework Agreements.

He is an active member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). His general engineering expertise encompasses the following disciplines; High Voltage Systems, Electrical Distribution, Lighting, Fire Alarm/Security Systems, Standby Generations/UPS Systems, Project Management, Contract Administration.
